Custom Stone Pieces — Denver, CO
Custom Stone Pieces
Timeless details, crafted to last
Where stone shines
- Fireplaces — surrounds, mantels, hearths, and full-height feature walls; vein-matched, mitered returns, bookmatched panels.
- Stone sinks & vanities — carved vessel sinks, integrated drainboards, apron fronts, precise faucet/fixture cutouts.
- Home accents — floating stone shelves, console tops, ledges, niche trims, and stone mirror frames.
- Wall caps & coping — exterior caps for half walls, patios, planters; thermal/antiqued finishes for grip and weather.
- Sills & thresholds — window sills, shower curbs, door thresholds with eased edges and watertight details.
- Stair treads & landings — solid stone treads, radius corners, anti-slip textures where needed.
- Tables & tops — custom coffee tables, nightstands, sideboards with mitered “thin” edges or sculptural thick profiles

Remnants: smart, beautiful, budget-friendly
Stone remnants are perfect for many of these projects. They let you use premium materials—often from the same slabs we install in kitchens—at a lower cost and with less waste.
Best remnant uses: sills, thresholds, shelves, vanity tops, side tables, niche trims, small hearth/bench pieces, laundry/coffee bar tops, short wall caps.
How it works: browse our remnant yard, choose a piece, we template, cut, edge, finish, and seal—just like a full slab. (Great availability for whites, blacks, and popular quartzites/granites; sizes vary, so large monolithic features may still require full slabs.)
Finishes that fit the space
- Honed to soften glare, leathered for texture and fewer fingerprints, polished for depth and reflection.
- Thermal/antiqued options outdoors for traction and weather.
Details that elevate the craft
Mitered returns • bookmatching/vein-matching • Shadow reveals • Integrated LED channels • Slotted drains • Radius corners • Concealed steel where spans require it • Tight, low-visibility seams

I had a great experience working with Lion Stone Works to get new countertops in my kitchen. The project was a tricky one because my house is old and quirky — the team at Lion Stone Works was meticulous and paid attention to every detail, making it look like there were never any quirks in the first place! I couldn’t be happier with the work they did and the professionalism they demonstrated the entire duration of the project. Thank you all!

Jorge and Liz are amazing! This is a family business, and these two are so great to work with! Their assistance in selection was amazing. Liz dropped everything to help me come to a quick decision and to take me to look at slabs. In the end, they had a beautiful piece of Taj Mahal, which I am so glad I went with. Their attention to detail, along with my unusual requests for the shape of the splash was embraced and happily accommodated. Liz was excited and knowledgeable about helping me with my project- I stopped by their showroom on a whim, and I am so glad I did. (She is also one of the funniest people I’ve ever met!) I am looking forward to doing more rooms in my house with them. Thank you for the great work you do!

Lion Stone Works did an excellent job replacing our countertops and installing a new backsplash in our kitchen. We received a few different quotes and they were the most affordable. Liz, Tony, and team were great to work with and excellent communicators at every step of the way. I would definitely recommend working with Lion Stone
